The Girls Go Circular Project aims to equip 40,000 schoolgirls aged 14-19 across Europe with digital and entrepreneurial skills by 2027 through an online learning program about the circular economy.
And we wanted to celebrate them and surprise them with FHH beanies. It worked. Every year, Girls Go Circular – in collaboration with the European Commission, Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) – organizes the Women and Girls in STEM Forum.
The third edition of the Forum took place on Tuesday, 5th December, live-streamed from Brussels. This annual event has become a platform for leading voices of students, teachers, mentors, policymakers, researchers and industry working towards a truly equal and inclusive future of Europe.
Over the past two years, the Women and Girls in STEM Forum has attracted over 1,500 participants to identify key actions to bridge the gender gap in STEM and ICT, dismantle gender stereotypes and empower girls to pursue career dreams in science and technology.
By now EIT Health has empowered 29000 girls, and supported 1000 schools, with 16 educational modules, available in 16 languages with 10 partners involved who share values and the vision. Our Urška from our FutureHealthHERo initiative went to visit the Girls in Brussels and arrived as an early Santa Claus with these gifts.
