“I can’t decide, they all speak to me!” said one of the participants looking at the new inspirational collection of sweatshirts, at the launch of the FUTURE HEALTH HERo hub for future women leaders in Healthcare, at the EIT HEALTH’S Career Path event in Barcelona event last week.

We launched our FutureHealthHERo initiative at the event that gathers over 150 innovation students and graduates to celebrate their successful learning pathways. Additionally, the European i-Days hackathon Final was taking place and we saw students pitching their ideas to address health challenges in Europe.

Overall, it was the ideal environment to kickstart our FutureHealthHERo initiative.

Why have we started this initiative?

Because the talent shortage threatens the sustainability and growth potential of the healthcare industry. Therefore, the HEALTH HERO initiative together with all our other WIH projects and events is working on improving the health sector’s image, closing the gap between talent and industry and making it attractive in the eyes of future women leaders in Healthcare.

As it seems from the feedback at the event that we certainly got the attention from MA and PhD women students and start up founders with the sweatshirts and stickers we gifted to them.
